With every roof window, you will require a flashing kit. These items are crucial to the installation of your roof window as they provide a weathertight seal around your skylight.

Available for various roofing materials, the flashing kit seals around your roof window and acts as a drainage system on your roof. Water drains down the tiles above your window, on to the flashing, down the side of your roof window and then on to the tiles below.

It is also important to utilise the flashings for their respective branded window i.e. RoofLITE+ flashing with a RoofLITE+ roof window. When installed correctly, you will benefit from the 10 year guarantee that comes with both the window and flashing.
